I’m excited and honored to be part of Association of RI Authors first women’s writers event called “Her Voice.”

Twenty-seven female writers (and one male!) are gathering in RI to share experiences, challenges, wisdom, practices and work!

This one is personal.🤍

My newest Brainz Magazine article was published on the very day I sent both of my kids off to boarding school.

I was literally living the words I had written about the unexpected emotions that come with a new school year.

Excitement. Pride. Grief. Uncertainty.
The feeling of wondering, “Who am I now?”

I know I’m not the only parent or educator feeling a little untethered as this new school year begins.

The calendar flipped to August today and suddenly my brain starts telling stories…

☀️Summer is almost over.
😳 I’m not ready.
🌪️ Everything is about to get busy again.
