The driving cones course for the Barre Show Series #3 on Sunday August 2, 2026. Come on out to join the fun. We offer a carriage pleasure working class, reinsmanship and cones. We have a VSE/small pony division along with a large pony/horse division. Please arrive for noon.

Please take note of road construction 🚧 in Hardwick MA.

Hardwick:

Lower Rd (Rt 32) will be closed to traffic on Saturday, July 11th starting at 7:00am through Sunday, July 12th around 3:00pm(ish) for emergency repair of the railroad crossing by Old Furnace General Store, this closure will be during the entire time as the crossing will be dug up.

Traffic will be detoured in Gilbertville at the intersection of Church St and Hardwick Rd. (Rt 32 and Rt.32A) to Hardwick center taking Barre Rd back to the intersection with Lower Rd. Residents/local traffic and those going to Hardwick Farmers Co-Op and Hardwick Crossing Country Club will need to enter those locations through Gilbertville. Anyone going to River Run, High Rd., Upper Church St., Chagnon Rd., Creamery Rd. can still use Lower Rd., they just need to tell the detail officer.

Traffic in Wheelright will be detoured at Lower Rd. / Barre Rd. intersection up Barre Rd. to Hardwick center and back down Hardwick Rd. (Rt 32). Old Furnace General Store / ATM will still be accessible at this end of the closure.

Traffic officers will be present the entire duration to assist motorists.

Here's the driving cones course for Sunday's show, July 12th. It is not to scale so be sure to walk the course. I suggest arriving at noon for all you drivers. The weather looks good, with a high of 80.

Barre Horse Show Series starts on Sunday June 21. Here is the driving cones course. We have a new area with great footing and lots of room. We have two divisions for driving, mini/small pony and horse/large pony. The weather looks great. Come on out and join us. If you are a driver, I recommend getting to the show around noon.

BRDC ANNUAL SPRING TRAIL RIDE THIS WEEKEND. The trails are in excellent condition. A variety of delicious food options are available, and camping accommodations are also provided. You are invited to arrive on Friday and depart on Sunday. A complimentary breakfast will be served on Sunday for camping guests. Evening campfires will provide a wonderful setting for conversation.
