Genesee Valley BOCES has created a number of pages that are created and maintained for the purpose of communicating with the families of the children we serve and the community. This page is provided for the community to share information on specific school district topics of interest. We will update this page as often as possible to share as much as we can about the achievements

of the students and staff as well as other relevant school district community information. All posting of comments on this page is at the discretion of the page administrators. The intent of this policy is not to keep any negative or critical information from being posted, but to protect the privacy and rights of staff and students. Naming specific employees or students in a negative way will not be allowed. The page administrators will review all postings to ensure they do not violate GV BOCES’ policies, regulations, Code of Conduct, and Acceptable Use Guidelines regarding Internet access and practices. We encourage everyone to review Facebook’s terms of use, which govern its relationship with users and others who interact with Facebook. We welcome your thoughts and comments and look forward to what you have to say. However, we will remove postings that:
• are profane, defamatory, offensive, or violent language
• are hateful or discriminatory comments regarding race, ethnicity, religion, gender, disability, sexual orientation, or political beliefs
• are links or comments containing sexually explicit content material
• are attacks on specific groups or any comments meant to harass, threaten or abuse an individual
• are content determined to be inappropriate, in poor taste, or otherwise contrary to the purposes of the forum
• do not show proper consideration for others’ privacy or are considered likely to offend or provoke others
• easily identify students and/or staff in defamatory, abusive, or generally negative terms.
• break the law or encourage others to do so. This includes respecting copyright and fair use laws.
• are spam
• are political in nature
• are personal promotions
• promote products, services, or brands
The page administrators reserve the right to not post or to remove any comments at any time, for any reason. We also reserve the right to block individuals who misuse our page. Any advertisers that may appear on this site or are linked to the site have paid a fee for such access and none of the products, services or programs advertised are promoted or endorsed by the GV BOCES. Please keep in mind that if you do not want your comments or identifying information released in response to a public records request, DO NOT POST to this site. That’s a wrap for the 2024 National FFA Convention trip: It’s been a long, eventful 5 days for 10 of our FFA Members: these students visited The National U.S. War plane museum in Ohio, The Louisville slugger plant in Kentucky along with The Churchill Downs. Not only did they attend a rodeo but The Indianapolis speedway also welcomed us on a tour. We did lots of FFA shopping at the Mega store and various vendors!Meeting with several colleges at the Career center also expedited some acceptances letters for several students! While attending National FFA sessions we were honored to listen to Temple Grandin speak, and celebrate with many National Finalists. Our chapter met students from almost every state and as a challenge took a picture with them. We also had the best bus driver who got us everywhere we needed to go safely and was enjoyable the entire ride. Thank you Pioneer FFA for accommodating the trip and allowing us to join you. Please enjoy some of our highlights!

Today these FFA members traveled to Western Region Sub-States FFA competition. These members have worked hard for the past few months to prepare to compete at Districts and then advanced to substates! Today as they all stepped out of their comfort zones and represented our chapter they grew in leadership skills, met new people and visited with old friends. On to FFA State Convention in May. Great job everyone!
