Some of you know, and some don’t, but I will be having a baby in just 14 days! I will be taking 2 weeks off and then resuming my childcare services 😊 With that being said, I will be coming back on July 22 and I will have a spot open for childcare! I prefer this to be full time or at least 3 days a week! If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out! We can set up a meet & greet anytime 🤩

Policy Change

Good afternoon, parents! A change has been made to our payment policy.

Payment must be paid by the end of the week. For example, if you need childcare Monday - Wednesday, you must pay no later than Wednesday. There will be a $3 late fee for every day that you are late paying.

Payment is very important to make sure Happy Cubs can stay up and running. It ensures the kids are happy with crafts and toys, fed with yummy food, and most importantly safe!

I have some very exciting news to share with you all!

I have been speaking with officials, and I will be acquiring everything I need to become a certified family childcare home!

This has been a dream of mine to be able to do and I can’t believe it’s coming true!

Becoming a certified family childcare home means I will have room for up to 8 children total! We will be available to accept CCAP as well! This will take time to set up but I hope to be open as a certified family childcare home before the end of the year, maybe even the end of summer! We have to be approved for the grant, pass inspection, and a few other things! I am so excited and I hope you all are too!

Here at Happy Cubs, someone you will always see, is my daughter. She’s with me 24/7 and loves having new friends to play with! From 9am-10am, we utilize an hour for learning time! She will not be going to public school so we homeschool 😊 Any children that are in my care, are more than welcome to participate in any learning activities we are doing! It is absolutely not forced 😀

Right now, we are focused on learning the first three letters of the alphabet (A,B,C) and the first three numbers (1,2,3). We also do lots of sensory play to utilize their five senses! And of course, lots of coloring to bring out their creativity!

PSA : I will never post any photos of children that I provide childcare for, you will only ever see my child!

We ❤️ all things sensory here at Happy Cubs!

Rather it be an activity like blowing bubbles or drawing with chalk, or identifying what you see, feel, and hear in the sensory bin, we have fun with it all! Our sensory bins will be changing every other week or so to give the children plenty of different learning experiences!

Here at Happy Cubs, I prioritize being more than just a babysitter. With my daycare background, the teacher in me shows with everything that I do! I love watching children learn new things, say new words, or see something new! It warms my heart so much 🥰
