Hello! I am Aaron Young. I have taught high school level mathematics, Algebra 1, Algebra 2, Algebra 3, and Geometry over 6 years. I have for the most part used resources from others to teach my students, only occasionally creating my own resources. However, over the past couple of years, I have wanted to be creating more original materials. This year gave me the perfect opportunity.

I have mostly Algebra 3 classes and my district doesn't really have a plan that I have to follow. I have quite a bit of liberty to format the subject as I want as long as I include the required standards. I have done away with tests for the end of units and started creating projects, while theming the unit for the project. I am also trying to find my style for creating new stuff. I have already made two units and planning to wrap up the second unit and see how the project works.

I am in the middle of creating new materials for upcoming units, while reflecting and improving the previous unit. As I get it together I will be posting reflections here and links to my Teachers Pays Teachers store.
