As our 30th Class Reunion approaches quickly, let’s not fall into the mindset of:
“I’m not going — I didn’t like those people in high school, so why would I go now?”
We’ve all heard it. Maybe we’ve even said it. But here’s the truth: class reunions aren’t about reliving high school drama or pretending to be someone you’re not. They’re about growth, perspective, and connection. Let’s be real — we were literally kids back then. And not one of us is that same kid anymore.
We’re not who we were in 1995 — and thank goodness for that. Life has stretched us, changed us, and certainly humbled us.
Who knows — someone you never spoke to in high school might just end up being your new best friend for this next phase of life we’re heading into.
You don’t have to show up to impress anyone. It doesn’t matter where we are in life — comparison is the thief of joy. Let’s just show up, make some new memories, and laugh at the old ones.
I truly hope to see as many faces from the Class of ‘95 as possible. I can’t wait to hear what you’ve been up to — and to celebrate how far we’ve all come. 💜🎩
