With students returning soon, our new staff are ready to hit the ground running and begin making a difference in the lives of our students.

Last week, we hosted High School and Middle School Band Camp, and what an amazing week it was!
The week wrapped up with a high school preview performance of both the pregame and halftime shows. The students have put in a tremendous amount of work, and it was great to see that hard work come together.
We can’t wait to see the pregame show this week at our first home football game against Sauk Prairie.

This week at the School Board meeting, we had the opportunity to honor more of our retirees. As our staff prepares to return to our buildings, it is important to recognize that we will be doing so without some of our longest-tenured staff members.
One of those is Ms. Donna Ramsey, whose light has been a part of East Elementary and Kid Stop for the past 46 years. Her impact is difficult to put into words for those who don’t know her, but for those who do, words will never do it justice.
Our District and our community are incredibly thankful for Donna’s dedication, care, and countless contributions over the past four decades. She leaves behind a lasting impact on generations of students, families, and staff.
Thank you, Donna, for 46 incredible years. We wish you all the best in retirement!

This week, we wrap up our celebration of the School District of Baraboo's annual staff recognition awards by honoring our Who's Got It Better recipients.
The Who's Got It Better Award recognizes staff members who embody what it means to be a Thunderbird. Nominated by their peers, these individuals show up every day with a positive attitude, a relentless commitment to excellence, and a belief that nobody has it better than we do. Their enthusiasm, dedication, and school pride are contagious, making our schools places where students and staff want to be.
Congratulations to this year's Who's Got It Better recipients! Thank you for your passion and for helping make the School District of Baraboo an exceptional place to learn, work, and grow.

Congratulations to Bradbury "Brad" Robinson on his induction into the Baraboo High School Athletic Hall of Fame!
A graduate of the Class of 1929, Robinson excelled in athletics at Baraboo before continuing his remarkable career at the University of Minnesota. He earned All-Big Ten honors in football and later served as captain of the Minnesota basketball team during the 1932-33 season.
The son of Bradbury Robinson Jr., who threw the first legal forward pass in college football history, Robinson built an impressive legacy of his own. Alongside fellow Hall of Fame inductee Virgil "Heavy" Licht, he was a teammate, college roommate, and lifelong friend whose achievements became a source of pride for generations of Baraboo sports fans.
Join us as we celebrate Brad Robinson and the entire 2026 Hall of Fame class on Saturday, September 26, at the Baraboo Country Club.
