In May of 2010 we met…again (long story, maybe we’ll tell you sometime). This time, we were ready for one another and it was only a matter of weeks before we knew that this was a forever sort of thing. By July of 2011, we had our first son, Orion Jack, and now we’re spending our days learning how to be parents and how to be grown-ups. Add in 2 dumb but adorable dogs and you’ve got the Greenes. But this blog isn’t about our impromptu family, exactly. It’s more about appreciating the place where you are and its quirks. It’s about keeping the creativity in your days and not losing it to the everyday. Tis' the Season! Ghosts, goblins and "Oh My's!" are back!!!

It’s not very often we highlight places 3 hours away…but, Club Lago Restaurant is in a different category! This family owned restaurant in Chicago should be on everyone’s bucket list!

The food is amazing! I can personally say that with confidence and experience!

I always felt welcome, and I never left hungry!

So add this restaurant to your list and check it out during your next visit to Chicago!

And for our Chicago Fans - if you have never been there, or never heard of this place…for shame!!! Move back to Wisconsin already!!!
