We are excited to celebrate Independence Day on Monday, August 17. Parents and guardians will no longer need to walk students into the building; instead, all students should be dropped off through the carpool line. Independence Day gives our students the opportunity to practice being independent and confident as they begin their school day. Once they arrive, our staff will be ready to welcome them and help them make their way to class safely. Thank you so much for helping us make this transition a positive one and for partnering with us to keep our students safe. We look forward to seeing everyone in their red, white, and blue on Monday!

There was a lot of hard work from staff and students behind this district wide accomplishment!

Parents, thank you for your patience at car line today with the severe lightning! We know that it took much longer than usual, but our first priority is the safety of our students and staff. Thank you for your patience and cooperation!

Parents,
As we wrap up the school year and head into summer, please take time to look at your children's online activity. Whether through a personal device, a family tablet, or a gaming system, children have access to online content from a young age. The FBI has seen an alarming increase in violent groups targeting young children in seemingly harmless online spaces. Please talk with your kids and look into their online activities. Setting expectations and providing structure for your child's online activity is not a punishment; it is necessary for their mental health and physical safety. Check out the links from the FBI and Learning.com on the RCES news post for information about potential threats and recommendations for keeping your children safe.
