and Celeste (and Bill) Hughes for another memorable Italian baking class at Pandola !! We all learned to make crème filled St Joseph’s Day pastries.. and enjoyed the tasting that followed 😋.. We even used Miss Philomena’s favorite recipe…
Kudos to all who attended and especially to Ms Rosalie Ranieri who selflessly works to make these classes possible 🙏🏻!

Zeppole Di San Giuseppe are traditional Italian pastries prepared every March 19 for the Feast of St Joseph’s Day which also happens to be Father’s Day in Italy.

On Sunday December 7, 2025 the Daughters of Isabella of St Leo’s Church sponsored a commemorative luncheon honoring 4 special people who have made a lasting difference in Baltimore’s Italian American community. Our director Rosalie Ranieri was one of the honorees .

28 Years of Devoted Service to Pandola Learning Center and the Little Italy Community

For nearly three decades, Rosalie has been the heart and guiding force of Pandola Learning Center. Her dedication has touched countless lives, shaping the future of students and strengthening the bonds of the Little Italy community.

• School’s Director: Rosalie has led with vision, compassion, and steadfast commitment, ensuring that every student receives not only an education but also a sense of belonging.
• Curriculum Director: She has crafted programs that inspire curiosity, foster growth, and preserve the cultural heritage of Little Italy.
• Program Coordinator: With tireless energy, Rosalie has brought together families, educators, and community leaders to create opportunities that enrich both minds and spirits.

Her 28 years of service stand as a testament to her unwavering devotion. Rosalie’s leadership has left an indelible mark on Pandola Learning Center and the community it serves. Today, we celebrate her extraordinary contributions, her compassion, and her legacy of excellence.

Honey Class Rescheduled

Dear Friends of the Pandola Learning Center,

The Honey- A Natural Staple of Life Seminar planned for tomorrow
will rescheduled. We will present it in another session.
