Overflowing with swing, spirit, and Baltimore soul, the Baltimore Jazz Collective brings together six nationally acclaimed artists whose original compositions honor the city’s challenges, triumphs, and legends — from Eubie Blake and Baby Laurence to Gary Bartz and Baltimore Club pioneer Rod Lee.
Rooted in different backgrounds but united by years of creating together at Baltimore staples like Keystone Korner, Jones, Todd Marcus, Alex Brown, Kris Funn, Quincy Phillips & Brinae Ali embody the deep groove, blues, and community that define the city’s jazz tradition.
