From raising grades from 65 to 95, to making difficult topics easier to understand, we express our appreciation for their patience, time, and effort in supporting our academic growth throughout the school year.

Our students learned about Lonnie Johnson, the brilliant engineer and inventor behind the Super Soaker, and explored how creativity, engineering, and innovation can turn ideas into inventions that change the world.

Then, they put the fun into STEM with their own water play activities inspired by his invention. 🌊✨

Students stepped into the Hippodrome to prepare for something bigger than a presentation.

Over the past few weeks, they’ve been writing original poems inspired by Black STEM Heroes, learning how to use their voice, their story, and their presence. 🎤

Now, they’re getting ready to take the stage.
