What an incredible first day at Artscape! The energy here in Baltimore has been absolutely electric. It’s been so rewarding to see everyone jumping into the art activity—the creativity has been truly inspiring. We’ve met all types of people, also saw Mayor Scott, I was filmed with the CEO of Create Baltimore and got to see a little of the Roots show! It’s been eventful to say the least.
I’m also thrilled to share that the mini pillows have been a huge hit! Seeing them find their new homes throughout the day has been the highlight of my booth experience.
A massive thank you to my family and friends and everyone who stopped by Booth A32 today to say hi, chat, and support my work.
If you missed out, don’t worry—I’ll be back at it Sunday. Come by to grab your own piece of handmade goodness!

Get ready to feel the texture in person this weekend. My latest crochet pieces are all about that plush vibe. The kiln is firing, the yarn is flying, and Artscape is almost here! Come say hi at Booth A32 on Hillen St. and Fallsway. See you there May 23-24!

Coming soon to a booth near you...
Here is a little teaser of what I’m bringing to Artscape on May 23! From textured crochet accessories to one-of-a-kind ceramic pieces, I’m making sure there’s something special for everyone to take home.
I’m counting down the days until we’re all hanging out in the city. Who else is coming out for the art and to catch The Roots!

It’s been a busy week in the studio! I finally got to glaze the latest batch of work—eight pieces in total, including new bowls and a few garlic graters.
One of the best parts about working at this studio is getting to use the power tools. To mix the glazes, you attach a long, blender-like extension to a device that looks just like a drill. It takes a second to get the hang of it, but once you do, it’s actually pretty fun to use and ensures everything is perfectly incorporated.
For this round, I stuck with a palette of Oatmeal and a Slate Blue Gray. I’m especially curious about one piece that I double-dipped in both colors to see how they interact.
The kiln is loaded, and now the waiting game begins. I can’t wait to see how these textures and colors turn out!
