It's election time! If you are interested in running for next year's board, please go to the "Forums" page on the PDP TWEN site and submit a very brief statement of interest between now and Saturday, March 29th at 8:00pm. On Sunday, March 30th, we will open up the polls for two days, which you will be able to find under the "Customized Polling" tab on TWEN. Feel free to email the current board members with any questions, and good luck!

REMINDER: Alternative Spring Break + Service Hours!!

The LCDO and PDP are making a final push for people to register for our community build this Sunday, March 16th. We will meet in the lobby roughly between 9:15 and 9:45am and walk over instead of worrying about carpooling. Come for free drinks and a good time. Check your email for more information and the registration form!

Networking event and happy hour THIS THURSDAY!!

On February 27th, PDP will be Co-Sponsoring an event with MSBA's Young Lawyer's Section, Baltimore City Bar Association (and various other organizations). This is our first major event of the Semester in co-sponsorship with two of the larger bar associations in the area, so it is important that we get a good turn out. The event will be from 6 pm to 8 pm at UB Law School, followed by a Happy Hour at the Chesapeake (which is up Charles Street on the other side of Penn Station). Even if you have class during the event, come out to the happy hour. At last count there were over 100 confirmed guests. And as an added incentive the Chesapeake will give a free drink to the first 25 attendees to arrive at the Happy Hour after the Event (no gunning for drinks).

Welcome back everyone! Several announcements:

-PDP is still looking for new outlines to keep our outline bank current. If you have any outlines for a class in which you received a B+ or higher, send them to Laura so they can be posted on TWEN.

-Also remember that each PDP member must complete 10 hours of community service per year. Please submit your hours to Maria by the end of the semester.

-Finally, PDP has a number of exciting events (and opportunities to rack up service hours) planned for the semester, so keep an eye on your email for more information coming soon!

General body meeting TODAY at 12:30 in Room 102. Pizza and beverages will be provided, and initiation certificates will be handed out to members initiated last spring!

Don't forget to tell your friends to stop by PDP's table at the Student Orgs Fair from 3-6pm today!

If any current PDP members are available and interested in building up some service hours, please contact the board about helping out this afternoon, or just stop by and sit for however long you can (and make sure you let the board know so we can document your hours!). Thanks!
