We were honored to welcome Mr. Joe Oleszczuk, the Director of Educational Technology for the Archdiocese of Baltimore Catholic Schools, to school today to celebrate our Teacher of the Year, Mrs. Mary Ann Nietubicz!

The visit included the presentation of a gift in appreciation of the dedication and commitment Mrs. Nietubicz brings to our students and school community each day.

We are lucky to have her as part of our school family. ๐ŸŽโœจ

Our 6th graders did a wonderful job presenting their project to our 1st graders.

They talked about and shared the story of Pentecost and the Holy Spirit. They presented what happened during the first Pentecost, the different symbols of the Holy Spirit, its Fruits and Gifts, how Pentecost is celebrated then and now, and what it means to live with the Holy Spirit in our daily lives.

We truly saw the preparation, teamwork, and effort they put into making their class project successful. They are all courageous in sharing their faith through their works.

We are so proud of them!

โ€œBe strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.โ€ โ€” Joshua 1:9

This morning, we celebrated the Class of 2026 at our annual St. Julie Breakfast! We were excited to welcome the Knights of Columbus, along with the Farrace and Berkheimer families, as they awarded scholarships to our 8th graders.

We also recognized our students for their hard work, leadership, and service to our school community. As always, we rounded out the morning with our beloved 8th Grade Car Parade! ๐Ÿš—๐ŸŽ“

Our students and staff had so much fun cheering on our graduates as they begin this exciting new chapter. We are so proud of the Class of 2026 and all they have accomplished! ๐Ÿ’™๐Ÿ’›

A few weeks ago, our school community came together for a wonderful Food Truck Night filled with great food, laughter, and fellowship! ๐ŸŒฎ๐Ÿ”๐Ÿง It was so nice to see our families enjoying time together and making memories outside of the school day.

A special thank you to Mrs. Moreno for organizing such a fun and successful event for our community. Your hard work and dedication are so appreciated! โค๏ธ

Be sure to stay tuned for even more fun events next year โ€” we canโ€™t wait! ๐ŸŽ‰

This morning, our 8th graders officially took over the school โ€” and they did an amazing job! ๐ŸŽโœจ

From stepping into teaching roles in the classrooms, to helping Mrs. Marinaro sort books for next year, assisting Ms. Christine in the nurse's office, and even taking the pictures for this post, our students showed responsibility, leadership, teamwork, and servant hearts throughout the day.

It was so special to watch them use the gifts and talents God has given them to help our school community in so many ways. We are so proud of the maturity, kindness, and dedication they displayed as they prepare for their next chapter. โค๏ธ

Great job, Class of 2026! ๐ŸŽ“

As a faith-filled school community, we are reminded that freedom is a precious gift and that true sacrifice reflects the greatest form of love โ€” laying down oneโ€™s life for others. Through prayer, song, and remembrance, we honor our fallen heroes and ask God to bless their families and all who continue to serve our nation. โค๏ธ๐Ÿค๐Ÿ’™

โ€œGreater love has no one than this: to lay down oneโ€™s life for oneโ€™s friends.โ€ โ€“ John 15:13

๐Ÿ’™โœจ May Spirit Assembly โœจ๐Ÿ’™

Today we gathered together for our May Spirit Assembly filled with prayer, celebration, and school spirit!

Mr. Morgan and the choir led us in a beautiful Memorial Day prayer service as we remembered and honored those who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country.

Our 8th graders also led us in praying the Rosary, helping our school community grow together in faith. ๐Ÿ™ We surprised Fr. Obinna with birthday cards and a special birthday song to celebrate his special day! ๐ŸŽ‚๐ŸŽ‰

We were proud to honor our May Child of God recipients, recognizing students who continue to shine through their kindness, respect, and Christlike example. ๐ŸŒŸ

To wrap up the assembly, our Safety Patrol gave an important and informative presentation on summer safety to help everyone prepare for a fun and safe summer break! โ˜€๏ธ๐Ÿฆบ

Thank you to our 2nd graders for leading us in such a beautiful May Devotion ceremony today. ๐ŸŒธ๐Ÿ’™

Their prayers and songs were so lovely as we honored the Blessed Mother during this special month of May. The beautiful flowers our students brought in reflected the love and devotion of our school community.

Thank you to everyone who helped make today such a wonderful celebration!

What a perfect day for a sweet, cold treat! ๐Ÿงโ˜€๏ธ

Our students and their families worked so hard getting donations for our Race for Education, they were rewarded with delicious snowballs from Icy Delights! It was a wonderful way to celebrate their efforts and generosity.

We are incredibly thankful to our SUS community for your thoughtful donations and continued support of our school. Your generosity truly makes a difference!
