Summer may be quieter on campus, but Loyola has always been a beautiful place to be — and this week's archival finds prove it!

We're sharing four stunning nature shots from our collections:

By popular request, we're sharing a look back at the 1976 commencements at Loyola and Notre Dame!

These images — drawn from yearbooks held in our Archives and Special Collections — capture a milestone year: the United States Bicentennial. Among the photos you'll find wide shots of both graduating classes, the moment of degree conferral at both, a glimpse of the Bicentennial celebration woven into the festivities, and some wonderful close-up portraits of graduates in the crowd.
