ging media, Loyola's Master of Arts in Emerging Media program prepares you to explore new media’s role in journalism, public relations, advertising, marketing, and other communication disciplines. As a student in this online program, you will have the opportunity to explore new communication opportunities as they emerge and develop a capstone project in your own area of interest, all with the individualized attention of our faculty. Loyola’s Emerging Media faculty have been deeply involved with emerging media since before the development of the Internet and are currently working with some of the most up-to-date communication platforms. Many faculty members have published and lectured extensively on new media networks and issues. They are engaged, entrepreneurial, enthusiastic, and eager to build a strong learning community incorporating the most appropriate online teaching techniques and technologies. Together, you will develop the professional skills and habits of mind needed to be a leader in these dynamic and challenging times. The rate of innovation in communication technology is accelerating. Some of these innovations will change the world and the way we do business, learn, play, and relate to each other.
