This young lady turned 17 on Nov 17!

The first Adventures of Babetta were published in 2004. Telling the stories of Opera to children of all ages has been one of the greatest joy of my life!

Seeing your character coming to life through the talent of illustrators and animators that have all added their take on her has been an incredible journey.

In this video a special tribute to this amazingly rough and resilient city I love so much and I call home!

She will turn 18 on Nov 17th 2022 so Stefania Pravato (her second mom!) and I are going to work something up!

Maybe is about time for me to make my version of my favorite opera: I Puritani (yes! My favorite opera is not from my favorite composer to which I dedicated one of the coolest books for children 😊)

Stefi sei pronta per Elvira e Arturo?

The Italian Cultural Center is proud to present its next community event: Pasquetta - First Baltimore Annual Easter Egg Roll

Center Plaza will be where the first Italian traditional Pasquetta will be held! In Italy, the day after Easter, we usually have a "scampagnata" where "you meet with friends and family in a park and relax and have fun".

In the United States, the Easter Egg Roll is an annual event, and is held on the White House lawn, and in many other cities, each Easter Monday for children and their parents.

We look forward to seeing you all there! Vi aspettiamo numerosi!
