Our last meeting of the semester will be this Wednesday at 6:30 PM, and will be run by our new officers for 2026-2027! Come by and enjoy a game of Jeopardy (winners get a prize), music, and snacks🎲🍿

We are so excited to see ther plans for the club come to life! We know they’ll achieve great things.

On behalf of the ‘25-‘26 officers, we want to say thank you to our members for putting your trust in us this year. We had so much fun at all of our events, learned so many new things from our guest speakers, and had a successful AAFS trip! We’ll look back on these memories fondly.

🌸Spring Semester so far!🌷

We hope everyone enjoyed their spring break! We are so excited to get back into the swing of things and start our weekly meetings again. But first, scroll for a semester recap!

We would like to give a big shoutout to everyone who has attended the meetings so far, and if you haven’t, it’s never too late! New and old faces are always welcome. 🤗

This week, we will have a guest speaker teach us about paints, polymers, and textiles! You won’t want to miss it! We hope to see you there! 🔎

This year, FSA was delighted to attend the annual American Academy of Forensic Science conference in New Orleans, Louisiana. We would like to thank .edu, , , and Dr. Tamra Legron-Rodriguez for attending and presenting.

We would also like to like to give a special shout out to all of our club members who helped raise the money that made this trip possible! Another special thanks to our president, Hannah Hayes, and all officers who worked hard to make this goal a reality. We couldn’t have done it without you! 🫶

We are extremely grateful to have had this opportunity to learn about advancements in forensics, connect with professionals in the field, and represent the next generation of forensic scientists. FSA cannot wait to be back for AAFS next year!

🍓 Last week FSA partnered with ACS for a DNA extraction night! 🧬

Our members got to isolate strawberry DNA and learn how chemistry and forensics go hand-in-hand. 🧪

Looking forward to more collaborations that bring hands-on science to our members!
