Due to Covid, we are delaying meeting in person. This year we have virtual classrooms available for parents to instruct, complete with lesson plans and assessments. It's open enrollment time!
The first day of school is Tuesday, September 3, 2019

For everyone that intent to continue with us, please submit your registration fee ($50 per student) by the 15th of August. The remaining membership fee balance of $150 per student, can be submitted in 10 automatic payments of $15 each for the months of September 1st thru June 1st, or can be paid in full on September 1st. Sunday, August 11th is Eid ul Adha. I will not be available for interviews again until Wednesday, August 14th 9am until 3pm.

Today is the last day of school!! Alhamdulillah

Year end reviews are scheduled for this week. Please check your email for the schedule. Today, Tuesday and Friday are booked. There are a few appointment slots still available for Wednesday and Thursday.
THIS IS THE ONLY WEEK OF REVIEWS.
If you do not contact me before Friday morning to arrange a meeting, you will be reported as non complaint to your district on Monday and dropped from the group.

Ramadan Mubarak!

Today is day 152 of the school year, 28 more days to go! With Ramadan quickly approaching, if anyone would like to complete their year end assessments before the fasting season begins, please do so this weekend. If you need your username and passwords, email your request - [email protected]
The last day to schedule face to face meetings and portfolio reviews will be June 10th at 2 pm. All online students, June 10th is the last day to complete your work.
If you are continuing Membership with us for the 2019-2020 school year, please notify us by June 10th. Student enrolment status and student progress will be submitted to Maryland State Department of Education on June 11th. Next years fees, $150 per student, is due on Open Enrolment Day, August 1, 2019.
Open Enrolment interviews for new members will be held August 1st - September 1st, Sunday - Saturday 9 am - 2 pm
Also, the annual year end/EID picnic at the Zoo is cancelled due to my knee injury, I have to stay off of it for the next few months.

Alhamdulillah, our first Quran Hafiz class. First session 7 students attended. The second session will begin shortly, consisting of 6 little people all under the age of 8. Allahuakbar.
Next class is scheduled for next Saturday, 10 am.

Quran Hafiz Classes for Children ages 3 to 18!
Saturdays - first session 10 am until 1 pm and second session 3 pm until 6 pm. Taught by Sister Najma Jones, Masjid Muminiin 2642 Harford Road. $25 Registration Fee ($0 for Homeschool Umbrella Group Members) and $20 monthly membership fee.
