Graduating doesn’t mean that you are on your own. At the Pre-Professional Advising Office, we are here to support you, even once you’ve left the nest!

1:1 advising - Alumni are able to schedule and meet with pre-health advisors, free of charge. To schedule an appointment: log on to Handshake then select ‘junior, senior, alumni’ appointment time to see availability.

application prep - The Pre-Professional Advising Office hosts a multitude of events to support applicants. Alumni are welcome to attend events both in person and online. Emails about events will be sent out throughout the year.

committee letter - Alumni are eligible to participate in the JHU Committee Process for four years post-graduation. See our website for details and eligibility and requirements to receive a committee letter.

Medical/Dental School Presentations - As an alumni, you’re still invited to join us for medical school presentations during the academic year, both in person and online. You can also watch previously recorded sessions on our YouTube page!

alumni listserv - After you graduate, you will be able to receive emails from the Pre-Professional Advising Office by joining the alumni listserv. Instructions on how to join will be sent in May of the year you graduate. You can find more information on our website.

drop-ins - Alumni maintain access to our weekly drop-in hours during the academic year. You can find the link with more information on Handshake.

Attention EY27 Applicants - Primary Applications have opened! Keep working on them and use the JHU Pre-Prof Application Supplemental Guides to help you complete the primary app (like what information you need for your committee letter (CL) to be uploaded to your app). If you are using a CL, you must submit your primary app by June 30th.

Reapplicants, your HPA is due May 30th!

Are you applying for medical school? Come to the Imagine Center on April 28th (next Tuesday) anytime between 9:00 am - 6:00 pm to gain practice for admissions interviews! Open to juniors, seniors, and EY27 applicants
