We are entering bridal shower season…but instead of just picking junk off of a registry list, why not buy the young lovers in your life “Among the Lilies”? It is rooted in scripture and boasts marriage advice from a myriad of wise voices. In this linocut by the Man and Woman unite in a passionate kiss, perfectly fitting into each other. This comes as no surprise for “man is designed for woman and woman is designed for man. We go together. Our bodies literally fit together, summoning us to the ascent of love and enabling us to be a life-giving ‘gift’ to one another. John Paul II calls this incarnate discovery of the divine plan of love the ‘spousal meaning of the body.’”
