For everyone who has been asking, yes The Retriever Open is happening this year, Sunday, October 7th. Expect registration details and a big announcement from UMBC Wrestling very soon!

The 2018 MDWAY State Championship at UMBC is just over a month away - check out the championship singlets for the winners, and get pre-registered before it fills up!

Big thanks to everyone who came out, did battle, and supported The UMBC Retriever Wrestling team yesterday. Its been a few years since we've had a computer issue in the am, and I thank everyone for being patient as we corrected the brackets. Looking forward to implementing a new system that won't allow that to happen. Also, thanks to all the girls who made it out, we're excited to promote the ladies in the sport, and look forward to telling your friends and opponents about this competitive opportunity. 196 pre registered wrestlers for the 2017 Retriever Open! Walk in spots still remain, Elementary, Middle School, and Girls Divisions walk in registration is tomorrow ay 730 am. High school and Open divisions walk in registration is at 1030 am. Come knock the match rust off and support UMBC Wrestling.
