Alumni spotlight! Bernie del Prado, class of 22 is now working for TerraCycle. Bernie presented how TerraCycle can be used to recycle hard to recycle materials. TerraCycle is looking for interns, please reach out to Bernie (email on picture in this post) if you have questions.

On April 25 Global Studies Yamil Hernández and Olivia Paré presented their Honors Thesis at the 2025 Undergraduate Research Colloquium. Olivia won 3rd prize in the Social Science, Humanities, and Fine Arts division!

Before spring break Olivia Pare successfully defended her honors thesis. Since May she has been studying the effectiveness of post-war justice mechanisms for survivors of wartime sexual violence and spent time in Bosnia-Herzegovina over the summer studying the subject. On March 25, Olivia will be presenting her findings at a Peace and Justice Lunch Talk entitled “Justice for Her: The Struggle for Justice Among Female Survivors of Wartime Sexual Violence in Post-War Bosnia-Herzegovina.” If you would like to learn more, please consider attending this presentation and supporting a fellow Greyhound!
