This week we welcomed Layan Atieh, horn player with Seraph Brass back to the Peabody Institute where she studied with Bob Rearden to host a masterclass for the horn studio! We are grateful for this experience with such an accomplished musician and the knowledge she has shared with us. Thank you!

We had some great guest artist masterclasses at Peabody in 2024! Thank you to Markus Osterlund, Loewi Lin, Johanna Yarbrough, and James Nickel for sharing ideas to help us improve and inspiring us with your kindness.

The one where Richard Wagner invented a Tuba. Our amazing Wagner Tuba section shares a little history behind Anton Bruckner’s Symphony No. 9, conducted by Manfred Honeck. The heavenly tone concludes Bruckner's final symphony and serves as the NSO concert finale. 🎶
