Wow! It's been awhile since we've checked in!
Parents - we know that summer can be amazing. We also know that summer can be 'off schedule' chaotic .. and let's be real .. vacations with the kiddos don't always feel much like vacations at all!
With the fall months approaching, and kids getting back into their routines (complete with busy schedules) .. remember that 'good' parents don't have it together ALL the time. Continue to show yourself compassion through the not so good days and if you're feeling overwhelmed, don't forget to ask for help!
Sending love! π€

It's been awhile since we've checked in ... how are you feeling today? How is your week going so far?
If you're feeling a little rough, worn out, more tired than usual .. try filling up your cup ... your proverbial cup, that is. Whether that means going for a walk, calling a friend you haven't talked to in awhile, or binge watching your favorite show .. it all counts. Set aside some time to recharge this week. After all, you cannot pour from an empty cup.

"When you feel reactive, get curious. You have a wound that is asking to be healed." - Mark Groves
Think about some of the things or situations that may cause you to β¨reactβ¨ (an immediate behavior triggered by an emotion) instead of β¨respondβ¨ (purposeful behavior or comment meant to help the situation).
Do you notice a pattern? Is it a certain time of day? Is it when you haven't had enough sleep? Is it a certain person? What might be triggering you to act based on emotion vs. respond in a calm, purposeful way?
In Module 3 of the Insightful Parenting Series, we talk much more in depth about:
π your expectations and emotions
π triggers that lead to reactions
π reactions and responses

Good Morning & Happy Monday!
If you're a parent, you know that parenting is hard! No one gave you a manual on how to do this job. And the people who trained you (your own parents) were never formally trained either.
Parenting is as unique as we are. It's a big mix of personal choices that sometimes cause us to feel judgement, guilt, self-doubt and anxiety.
Mom's Have Feelings Too, is here to help parents write their own manual, in their own unique way and to have the confidence to pull it off β¨ without feeling bad about it β¨ so that you can connect with your kids more, decrease behavioral issues and enhance communication.
Click the link in our bio to purchase the Insightful Parenting Series! This course will help you understand your parenting style in order to gain confidence and insight, and to create meaningful connection with your kids. The best for you, the best for them!

"We all have a bag. We all pack differently. Some of us are traveling light. Some of us are secret hoarders who've never parted with a memory in our lives. I think we are all called to figure out how to carry our bag to the best of our ability, how to unpack it, and how to face the mess. I think part of growing up is learning how to sit down on the floor with all your things and figuring out what to take with you and what to leave behind." - Hannah Brencher
What's weighing you down? What can you unload to move through life a little lighter? What will you take with you?
