JH Health Education & Training (HEAT) Corps empowers youth to be health ambassadors

Join HEAT Corps as we bring together like-minded professionals to discuss preventive ways we can anticipate illness and medical emergencies.

The Johns Hopkins Health Education and Training (HEAT) Corps is hosting “Preventive Medicine & Wellness,” an in-person seminar, on February 13th at the Bloomberg Center in Washington, D.C. from 9 am – 4 pm. It will be held at 555 Pennsylvania Avenue NW, Washington D.C. and feature a keynote, a presentation on navigating the healthcare system, a panel on trauma-informed care, and several health related trainings like Stop the Bleed.

This event will provide policy experts, community stakeholders, and school leaders with the opportunity to collaborate to understand each other’s perspectives and develop solutions for an important health concern.
