Women Only CCW Certification: September 22nd, 8am

This isn’t a “watered-down” version of our co-ed CCW class. Same curriculum. The only thing different is who’s in the room.

Most people think of concealed carry training as prep for a public encounter; a parking lot, a store, a stranger. So they underestimate how much the class actually covers. The truth is, most of the “what ifs” that matter don’t happen out in public. They happen at home. In the middle of a totally normal day/night that suddenly isn’t.

Ever run those scenarios in your head? We’re going to run them together, with a plan, instead of alone at 2am spiraling. It’s time to take responsibility for your safety, and be confident with your choice.

We’ll cover the legal side (what you can and can’t do, and why it matters), how to size up a threat before you’re in it, and how to make good calls fast instead of freezing up.

🩹 When an emergency happens, knowing what to do matters.

Tuesday night, Lady Sentinel members got hands-on practice with skills that can make a difference in the moments before help arrives.

During our Hands-On Emergency Response: CPR & trauma special session, members practiced CPR techniques and learned practical bleeding control skills while working directly with medical professionals.

A huge thank you to Dr. Andrew Steele and Kathe Steele, RN and certified CPR instructor, for sharing their knowledge and giving our members the opportunity to learn by doing. 💜

Sessions like this are about more than learning a new skill. They’re about building the knowledge, confidence, and ability to act when someone needs help.

And thank you to everyone who joined us and was willing to get hands-on and learn something that could one day help save a life.

💜 Member Spotlight: Pan

For Pan, Lady Sentinel started as another opportunity to train. What she found was so much more.

Before joining, shooting was mostly a solo activity. She took private lessons and practiced at the range on her own. Then a friend introduced her to Lady Sentinel — and that individual journey grew into a community of women who train, learn, encourage, and support one another.

And Pan’s adventurous spirit goes well beyond the range. 🥋🏓🏹 From Taekwondo and pickleball to her newest challenge, archery, she continues to push herself, learn new skills, and discover what she’s capable of.

One message comes through clearly in Pan’s story: don’t let fear keep you from trying something new.

Lisa and I both ran our Platypus pistols (say that 5x fast) at Ladies Match Day last Sunday, and we're still talking about it.

A custom 1911 that runs on G***k mags? Yes please. They are beautiful, reliable, and stupid fun to shoot fast.

This past Sunday, six of our Lady Sentinels competed at Ladies Match Day at Sparta World Shooting Complex, and they brought it. Every single one of them walked away with more skill, more confidence, and a few new stories to tell.

The heat hit 100 degrees and didn’t let up, and honestly, that made it even more impressive. The determination out there all day was awesome to watch.

A massive thank you to our coaches, ROs, and supporters who stood out there in that heat, coaching, cheering, and keeping everyone safe. We don’t do this alone, and days like this prove it.
