We had a wonderful sisterhood night this week with leading us in a ceramics class. We loved sharing the evening with you all. ⚓️🫶🏼

Raffle tomorrow to benefit - cozy, blanket, bottle of Golden Anchor DG wine, GC, toe socks, toppings and more! $5 a ticket/5 for $20. DM us to purchase tickets if you’re unable to attend!

Every year, our team looks forward to our annual Dining in the Dark fundraiser to support VCB's essential independence and employment services. After much consideration ensuring this event makes the biggest difference in the lives of children who are blind or have low vision, our team has decided to postpone to a new date of February 28th in Bakersfield instead of this fall as originally shared.

Your support and participation of this event will make it possible for VCB to bring services and support to children who are blind and their families. Every year, VCB is hearing from more and more families about how impactful these programs would be and, as always, we aim to always do more to meet the needs of our community. If you were not already planning on being a part of Dining in the Dark, now is the time to commit to helping children who are blind have a safe place to ensure they get the education and support they need to build beautiful futures.

We will be in touch with those who have expressed interest in donating through Dining in the Dark or have already registered and sponsored to share options on how to move forward. The VCB Team hopes that our community can work together this winter in record turnout to ensure that our local blind and low vision youth have the tools and training to succeed in school and beyond.

Thankful for the ladies who joined us for our celebration in honor of the 150th Founders Day! The on and off rain didn’t damper our celebration. Our raffle box featuring and raised almost $200 for ⚓️💜
