One of the greatest privileges of what we do is watching the kids who once explored these trails, learned around these tables, and found encouragement from our guides become confident young adults pursuing their own paths.

Some places become part of your childhood. The special ones become part of who you are.

We asked two Outsiders graduates what this place has meant to them, and their answers say more than we ever could.

The friendships they built. The confidence they gained. The determination they discovered. Those are the things that stay with you long after childhood ends.

At Outsiders, you’ll see kids climbing, building, exploring, and yes… playing. But woven into all of it are reading, writing, math, science, curiosity, and problem solving.

That’s the beauty of learning through play. The learning doesn’t stop when the fun begins. It grows because of it.

We believe children learn best when they’re engaged with the world around them. Sometimes that means a lesson under a tree. Sometimes even in the tree. 🙃

Because education isn’t about where learning happens. It’s about helping children fall in love with learning.

It’s never just been about spending time outside.

It’s about giving children the space to discover who they are, build confidence, ask questions, take healthy risks, and fall in love with learning.

No matter where a child is on their learning journey, every child deserves a place where they can grow in ways that can’t be measured by a test score.
