Mustangs take the win in their first game of the 22nd annual Central Baseball Classic against Clovis North. gets the win for the Mustangs throwing a complete game. Next up for the Mustangs they travel to Tulare Western tomorrow game time 3 pm.

Leading the Mustangs at the plate in the season opener were Brayden Gutierrez and Anthony Nunez. Gutierrez went 2-3 with a blast to center field in the first inning. Nunez went 1-2 with a 💣 to right center in the 1st inning and 2 base on balls.

Retirement Announcement: Coach Showers has decided to retire after 29 years of selfless service. The Mustang Legacy he leaves behind will be etched in history: 6 League Titles

3x Coach of the Year. The Mustang family will definitely miss you but we also know it’s time for you to give your time back to your family and enjoy the fruits of your labor. Coach Showers, you have been an inspiration to all of us, not just as a coach but as a mentor and a role model. Your dedication, passion, and unwavering commitment to the team has shaped many athletes and individuals today.
Throughout your 29 years of coaching, you have instilled the value of hard work, perseverance, and teamwork. Your guidance and support have been invaluable, and we are forever grateful for the impact you have had on each players lives.
Your accomplishments speak for themselves. Six league titles, two section championships, one state regional appearance, and three Coach of the Year awards are a testament to your exceptional coaching abilities. You have not only brought success to the Mustang Family but have also created a legacy that will be remembered for years to come.
As much as we will miss you in the dugout, we understand that it is time for you to focus on yourself and your family. You have given so much of your time and energy to our team, and now it's time for you to enjoy the well-deserved rest and relaxation that retirement brings.
Coach Showers, thank you for everything you have done. Thank you for pushing each player to be the best versions of themselves, both on and off the field. Thank you for teaching them the importance of teamwork, discipline, and sportsmanship. Thank you for being a mentor and a friend.
Although you may no longer be the coach, you will always be a part of the Mustang family. We wish you all the best in this new chapter of your life and hope that you find joy, fulfillment, and happiness in every moment. Retirement is a time to reflect, relax, and enjoy the rewards of your hard work.
