One of the highlights of our trip to Costa Rica 🇨🇷 was visiting this school with Daniela Angulo
I thought I was just getting a tour but then she wanted to know if I needed a microphone or screen for my presentation! 🎤
I was able to practice a little public Spanish speaking off the cuff and then thankfully transition to English as they ALL speak it. Swipe to listen to my sad attempts.
Presenting a set of my books donated by students and families earlier this summer brought joy to my heart. I wish I’d brought a bigger suitcase. 🧳 Students learn mostly in English in this immersion school - the only reason my books will be useful!🤪📚

They say if you don’t know any quirky people, you probably are one. Well I love all my quirky writer friends and am proud to be quirky🤪. We cried and mourned the passing of our dear today but then we celebrated a new member by throwing a mini baby shower.
How’d we authors do it?
By gifting mom and dad lots of books - of course!
