Great thank you to all those who joined us for our jobs/internship panel! We heard from CCD on the market opportunities available to those interested in Operations Management and from three current students about their previous internship experiences. Having each worked in different industries with diverse intern positions, they enlightened us on the various ways one can be involved in operations. Join us for more future events!

The Babson Operations Club is inviting teams to participate in the MIT Sloan Operations Simulation Competition from April 7th-10th. With a prize pool of $6,000 and no travel required, play an online simulation against teams from around the world to manage a factory: make investments, cut costs, borrow money, forecast demand, find bottlenecks, fulfill orders and satisfy customers!

In order to participate, confirm from an Operations Professor that they are willing to recommend you and then complete this Google survey before March 6th: http://goo.gl/forms/Vc76eHqPnG


The registration fee is $50 per team of 4, however we will place you in a team if you do not have a team yet. We are also sponsoring 5 teams for the competition. For more information about the simulation, go to: http://sloanopsclub.mit.edu/ops-sim-com/

Sign up for the Babson Operations Club at the Spring Semester Org Fair on Monday, 1/25/2016 from 3:30pm - 5:00pm at Reynolds.

This semester we are diversifying the type of companies we tour and invite to include those in emerging industries such as Uber/Wanderu. We will also have an internship workshop for those looking into careers in Operations Management (Also a newly established concentration).

Highlights from the Fall included a tour of Taza Chocolate Factory and Coca Cola, a case competition and two panelist discussions. Stay involved!
