The rain may have prevented our outside play time, but it didn’t ruin our learning time! 🌧️💙 Raindrop names were our first activity today and the kids did so awesome!

We went all out for St. Patrick’s Day today! We even had rainbows for snack time ☺️ Who doesn’t love rainbows and everything rainbow, though?! 🌈🍀❤️ I am so thankful for the children I get to care for, and the families that build relationships with me!

I’m late with sharing, but we celebrated Dr. Seuss week last week with these fun activities and reading Dr. Seuss books all week 😁 The kids especially loved all the cutting and gluing! Their cutting skills are improving so much 👏🏻🥳

What a fun week of snow we had! ⛄️❄️
We did a lot of DannyGo because of cold temps, but we did enjoy some outside time playing in the snow and a few fun snowflake and snowman activities ☺️

We’ve had a fun week celebrating Valentine’s Day and showing love! 💗
We paused our regular curriculum and did some fun Valentine themed activities instead. We matched numbered flowers to make bouquets, we made cards for our mommies and daddies, we decided if hearts were numbers or letters, we practiced coloring in the lines of hearts, and we glued hearts inside a big heart to fill it with love! We also decorated cookies and then enjoyed eating them even more! 😁🍪❤️

We have had a blast learning about Community Helpers! 👮🏻🚒 👩🏻‍🏫 🚌👩🏻‍⚕️🦷 Our Experience Curriculum has had some really fun activities and crafts 😁 I didnt get to capture all the activities we did as I tend to send them home as we complete them, but here are some I saved. We can’t wait to see what else we can learn and do!

We tried out our new LeapFrog LeapMove today and I think it’s safe to say, the kids LOVE it! 🤩

What better way to celebrate a snow day than creating snowflakes! ❄️ We still had school as the roads were clear and it seemed to be only Azalea that got snow, so we enjoyed playing in the snow during outside time and making something to remember it by ☺️

December was filled with fun Christmas activities! 🎅🏼🎄❤️ We skipped our regular curriculum, but we still practiced letters and numbers with tons of arts and crafts! 🎨✂️🖍️

I hope everyone has a very merry Christmas! I am already missing these preschoolers, but I know they’re enjoying time with their families too ❤️ We will see you all in the new year! 🎊
