🍃 A little place to rest, read and enjoy God’s creation. 🍃

There’s something special about watching children slow down, explore and enjoy the beauty of God’s creation. 💚
The kids enjoyed creating their very own cozy little outdoor shelter where they can relax, read and simply enjoy some quiet time. What started as a creative project has become a favorite place to pause, breathe in the fresh air and appreciate the world God has created.
We love seeing the kids work together, use their imaginations and enjoy the simple things in life.

🏫 Our first week back was a success! 📚

We had so much fun learning, exploring, and making memories together! From meeting farm animals and enjoying time in nature to zipping on the zip line, playing on the playground, it has been a fantastic start to the school year.

📚A New School Year Begins Tomorrow!📚

Tomorrow, we begin another great year in our one room schoolhouse. 🏫 🍎 We are so excited to welcome everyone for a year filled with learning, adventure, discovery and plenty of time outdoors.
Our days will be spent learning together, playing on the playground, taking care of our farm animals, exploring nature trails through the woods, and enjoying our zip line and bike track.
🚲 🌟 🐑 🐐 🌳 🐔 🥾
We believe some of the best learning happens when children can explore, get their hands dirty, ask questions, care for living things, and simply be children.
We pray God allows us to learn, laugh and create great friendships along the way.

🎨 📚 We had a great time doing crafts and face paint at the King William Library’s Grand Opening! We are so happy for this wonderful addition to our county!

☀️ And that’s a wrap on Summer Camp 2026 ⛺️

We had a great week exploring the beauty of nature through hands on activities and creative projects. We built bug homes, created nature journals, identified plants, enjoyed cloud watching, designed nature frames, painted colorful rocks, and made beautiful sun bleached leaf prints. Every activity encouraged a deeper appreciation for God’s creation.
We continued our fruits of the spirit study by focusing on self-control. Every camper grew in every fruit this summer!
Thank you to the campers and their families for a great summer and for your support! We can’t wait to see you again next summer! 🎉

The King William County Library System is proud to have opened their second location in Upper King William at 7890 Richmond Tappahannock Hwy, Aylett, VA 23009.

They will be hosting their Grand Opening with Ribbon Cutting Ceremony along with their End of Summer Reading Bash this Saturday, August 8th from 11 am - 1 pm, and you're invited to attend!

⛺️ Camping week at Summer Camp! 🔥
What a fun week we’ve had at summer camp! Our campers embraced the great outdoors while learning new skills and making great memories! 
Throughout the week, we:
⛺️ Put up a tent
🔥 Built a campfire
☀️ Created our own solar oven
🪵 Made our own walking sticks
🍬 Used marshmallows and toothpicks to build creative structures
🏹 Tried our hand at archery
✍️ Drew pictures on our heads without looking- it was soooo fun!
Along with the fun activities, we learned about another fruit of the spirit- Gentleness. We talked about showing kindness, patience and love in the way we treat each other.
What a fantastic week!! 🌲
