Congratulations to Iris & Hiba for being selected to join the FIRST Indiana Robotics student board of directors!!

Unfortunately our alliance did not advance through the playoffs. This marks an end to the best season avon robotics has ever had. It's going to be very tough to top this, but we will come back next year eager to take out the challenges. Thank you to all of our mentors, students and sponsors for making this season a huge success.

We are 3-3 this morning with things looking up. Team 26 is currently ranked 12th and our next match puts our two teams against each other. We had a little Chick-fil-A lunch in the park to get some energy for the afternoon.

We had a fun evening, eating at a couple local restaurants and playing in the park!!

Each team has had a match and both teams did very well! Team 26 won their match, while team 21 lost but played very well. Something that is super cool, team 21 was paired up with an FTC team from the UAE!

We are back at it today! This morning two teams left AHS heading to South Bend for the premier event. This is a highly competitive event with several world level teams competing. We are excited to go up against the best and improve throughout the competition.

Mach 8 went 2-1 today ending their final record at 4 and 4. They finished ranked in the top half at 17th but unfortunately did not make it onto a playoff alliance. This has been an incredible journey for a team of Middle School rookies that we thought would be a stretch to get to state. The future is very bright for this group, but they're going to need to work even harder next year to get back here. We'll take a couple days off and then going to load up Thursday morning to take two teams to South Bend for a premiere event with some very tough competition.

We had a good time today competing with our partners! We played our game well, but had some tough matches and ended up 2-3. We have 3 more matches tomorrow, we are excited to take on the competition! A highlight of the day was former Avon Robotics Team mentor, Simon Davies came from Vermont to visit us and support the team!!
