Eric Wehmeyer ; Art of Algae

Wednesday August 12th, 6-7:30PM

The presentation is an informational session on local algae, seaweed, and how to make impressive art from nature! Listen to his lecture as well as a hands on activity at the end!

Eric started his journey into diving back in 2020 where he earned his Open Water certification in Florida and shortly became part of the D2 family when he obtained his AOW in 2021. From there, Eric went on to earn a bachelor's degree in Marine Biology from the College of Charleston and returned to D2 to become a divemaster. After spending a few years in Florida, working in coral restoration and honing in on his DM skills, Eric is back at D2. He can be found helping around the shop, keeping Anne in check and finding algae on the docks outside, feel free to ask him about it.

Maclearie Park, Belmar

Join us for our annual Fall Fun Dive & Cleanup Event!
We will have some light refreshments, great dives, & more!

All divers are required to dive with a buddy, & all buddy teams must dive with a proper dive flag.

Dive flags are not included in the event and can be purchased at the shop in advance.

Please email us to reserve gear in advance & schedule to pick up the day before!
