DETAILS:
Get ready for Field Day 2026 hosted by the Kocurek Specials Team!

📅 When: Tuesday, May 19th for 3rd - 5th and Wednesday, May 20th for Kinder - 2nd
🕓 Time: 8am to 11:30am each day
🏫 Where: Kocurek Gym & Outdoor Field. Field day is outside, dress accordingly and bring sunscreen and water.

**If you sign up to volunteer on your child's Field Day, you will not travel from game to game with your child's class, you will be stationed at one game for the duration of the event**

To volunteer at Field Day, each person must register to be on campus through https://austinisd.voly.org/ if you have not already done so earlier in the year.

Arrive early the day you volunteer to check-in through the Kocurek front office. After check-in, proceed to the gym to help prep for stations by 8am.

Teacher Appreciation Week!! 🍎 We are so grateful for all of the awesome Kocurek teachers. We provided coffee and breakfast tacos, a “dip day,” a cereal bar, and an ice cream sundae bar. Here are just a few pics from the week. Thank you also to everyone who helped make this week of treats happen!

Thank you to all of the teachers, volunteers, students, and families who made last night’s STEAM Night a success! 🔭 We hope you enjoyed the STEAM activities, the book fair, and the pizza 🍕. Last night’s event was made possible through the National PTA grant that the Kocurek PTA was awarded this year! Today we are especially grateful for Kocurek’s school nurse, Shannon! Thank you for taking care of our Koalas while they are at school!! 🐨
