We’re pouring some Texas history at Bluff SchuetzenFest this Saturday in La Grange! The festival is free and fun for the whole family; however, access to the Texas History on Tap Beer Garden is a fundraiser for the historic sites’ education and preservation programs. Did you know our friends at the St. Edward's University library archives were featured in Texas Monthly magazine? We feel pretty cool by association. Not as cool as them, but a little cool. Like, we sit at the same lunch table, but on opposite ends. One time we shared chips together. 😎

We are so sad to be losing a big piece of American beer history with the closing of Anchor Brewing Company. They created one of the US’s only true original styles: Steam Beer.

Come drink a little history with us at the Texas History on Tap Beer Garden, hosted during Bluff SchuetzenFest on Saturday, May 20th! Learn about the history of brewing in Texas and meet the crew behind our beer. We’ll be there from 1 pm – 7 pm, but festivities kick off at 11 am with the Free Family Festival.

Texas History on Tap is ticketed, but along with meeting our team, you’ll enjoy access to the beer garden tent, be able to enjoy German food and drinks, and have premium access to the beer garden stage while dancing the night away to Texas and German Music. All while experiencing the incredible view at Kreische Brewery & Monument Hill State Historic Sites.
