The Injunction has been reinstated until next Thursday.
That is the deadline by which the state has to respond.
Until Thursday, May 14th, the injunction is effective again and the challenged rules are no longer active.

We’ll advise when we know more.

May, 6, 2026 The state filed its notice of appeal in the THBC lawsuit against DSHS. We anticipated the state doing this.

Our legal counsel has alerted the 15th Court of Appeals we will be filing the Rule 29.3 motion as soon as we are assigned a docket number in that court.

We will be working to provide relief to the industry as fast as possible. This process could take anywhere from 1-3 weeks.
