I have always prayed, “God, let me do the things that only You can do.”
But living that prayer is truly breathtaking, full of tension, wonder, faith, and moments that feel almost impossible.
Before we had even completed our first year as a school, right as we finished our August–May school year, God led us to move into a new building.
When we first opened A Child’s Forest House, we opened with a dream, not knowing which children God would bring through our doors. And somehow, over time, our classrooms became full. Families became part of one community. Children became like our own.
Who would have imagined that, after only one year, we would be carrying these precious children into a new building?
The entire process was filled with moments that could only be explained by the hand of God.
On Friday, May 29, at 5:00 PM, we sent the children home from our old campus.
And on Monday, June 1, we welcomed them into our new building.
Inspections. Moving. Preparing the building. The playground. Every part of it felt impossible at some point.
But through it all, God kept speaking to us,
“I am the One doing this.
This is not simply your dream.
This is My dream that I placed in your heart.
You worship with the children.
You love the children.
You serve the families.
You become a vessel.
And through this, the world will know that I alone am their perfect Father.”
God, I love You.
And I will continue to kneel down, lower myself, meet the eyes of Your little lambs, and love them every single day.
Come to A Child’s Forest House,
if you are looking for a place where your child will be deeply known, deeply loved, and surrounded by the love of God.
