The Compass School

There are six facets of the TCS experience that make us unique:

(1) Innovation Lab - where students build and improve upon their creations through trials and tribulations;

(2) Dual-Grade Classrooms - where multi-age learning promotes collaboration, independence, and leadership;

(3) Learning Coach Model - where each student has a mentor educator who helps set goals, reflect on learning progress, and build a trusting relationship that lasts for four years;

(4) Academic Phases- that focuses on foundational knowledge, deep dives, and cultural investigation;

(5) Family-School Partnership- where we create belonging and an open line of communication that promotes student development;

(6) Tuition Model- to help ensure access and diversity to an independent school education.
