Sasona Coop

Sasona Cooperative is a non-profit community housing co-op in South Austin.

Located on an acre of land in the Zilker Park neighborhood, walking distance from the Barton Creek Green Belt and Barton Springs, Sasona offers individual rooms in a spacious, democratically run, member-owned household. Membership benefits include a home-cooked meal every night of the week, all bills paid, internet connection in every room, free laundry, and a stocked kitchen, as well as shared access to three living rooms and a beautiful backyard.

Hi friends- We have a room open at Sasona Housing Cooperative! (and more to come! :)

We are a very diverse group of people, who choose to live in community. Sasona is a non-profit housing cooperative located in South/Central Austin, in the Zilker neighborhood, walking distance to Barton Springs and Zilker Park.

Sasona Housing Cooperative has an Open Membership policy. This means, if you are approved by membership and can make payment and sign a lease agreement, you get the room!

In order to be approved for membership, you must attend two Sunday meetings. At these two meetings, we will ask you some questions to determine your eligibility for membership (Don’t worry! It’s easy:)

We have meetings EVERY Sunday at 7:30 pm. Feel free to join us for dinner at 7pm on Sunday evenings, and stay for the meeting after. Our Sunday dinners and meetings are always open to prospective members!

- Private room in a spacious, democratically run, member-owned household
- Located on an acre of land in the Barton Hills / Zilker neighborhood, walking distance from the Barton Creek Greenbelt, Barton Springs, and South Lamar.
