🔥 STATE SOLO & ENSEMBLE SUCCESS 🔥 
 
last weekend, 3️⃣ Westlake High School chamber ensembles represented at the Texas State Solo & Ensemble Competition at the University of Texas at Austin—Butler School of Music 🎻🏛️ 
 
We are beyond proud to share their results: 
 
🥇🥇 Two ensembles earned Division I (Superior) ratings 
🥈 One ensemble earned a Division II (Excellent) rating 
 
These performances reflect an entire semester of serious dedication, rehearsals, musical risk-taking, and true ensemble listening. Watching these students rise to this level of artistry is what chamber music is all about 💫 
 
HUGE gratitude to Westlake HS Orchestra Director for his leadership and support 🙌🏽 and to chamber coach for his guidance, insight, and care throughout the process 🎶

on sunday, march 8, we wrapped up YEAR 4 of Chamber Academy Austin with a PACKED HOUSE and 12 groups taking the stage. they represented students from Lake Travis, Eanes, and Austin ISDs. what a way to close out the year!! 
 
we are so incredibly proud of every single one of these students. the growth, the hard work, the music — it showed 💪🏽💪🏽💪🏽  
 
thank you to all the parents, teachers, CAA faculty, AND the orchestra directors that help us do what we do 💛 wishing everyone a great rest of the school year. see y’all in YEAR 5 🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽

This past weekend, these outstanding graduating seniors were invited to the Texas State Solo-Ensemble Contest at UT Austin, where they earned a Division 1 Rating — the highest possible! 🌟⠀

Coached by our own Luis Eduardo Bellorín, they performed the thrilling Finale from Dvořák’s “American” String Quartet.⠀
