Dawson Elementary Early Childhood: Kinder, PreK, and PPCD

We want to share with families all the wonderful things we do inside our PK/PPCD classrooms! We invite parents to use this page as a communication tool.

PPCD stands for Preschool Program for Children with Disabilities. Eligibility is based on district evaluation and admittance into special education services via an IEP (Individual Education Program). PPCD services are provided to students age 3-6 who are receiving special education services. Students in PPCD can also be enrolled in PreK if they are eligible.
