Disability and Access (D&A) supports accommodations for disabled students and promotes accessibility across campus.

Services for Students with Disabilities (SSD) determines eligibility and helps implement reasonable accommodations for students with disabilities at the University of Texas at Austin. We also engage in outreach across campus to build awareness of and appreciation for people with disabilities.

UT Austin provides sign language interpreter services at no cost to Deaf and hard-of-hearing students, faculty and staff. Interpreters are available for classes, meetings and university-sponsored events. Contact Disability and Access to get started.

D&A will operate remotely Tuesday–Friday, March 17–20, during Spring Break. Hours will remain 8 a.m.–5 p.m.

We will resume in-person operations on Monday, March 23, with the same hours.
