Last, but certainly not least Chapter Leader highlight! 🧡

Ben Turvey graduated from OSU in 2023 with a bachelor's degree in marketing. He was also a member of Sigma Alpha Epsilon, serving on the executive board for two years. He moved to Austin shortly after graduation and began his career in sales development for tech companies. Turvey recently joined Confluent's inbound sales development team, and when he’s not passionately making cold calls, he loves getting out on the golf course. He’s bled orange since the day he was born and is the Austin chapter’s biggest hype man. Turvey is the obvious choice to lead the chapter social calendar for the upcoming year. He looks forward to continuing our chapter's growth, especially at football watch parties!

Our next chapter leadership is Chip Baker - Secretary!

Baker has been elected to the role of Chapter Secretary. He graduated from OSU in Spring 2021 with a degree in management information systems, where he was also a member of Kappa Sigma Fraternity. After spending two years in Oklahoma City, he moved to Austin in July 2023 and has loved calling it home ever since. Professionally, Baker works as a senior data analyst for Health Care Service Corporation. When he is not writing SQL queries, you can find him catching up on the latest TV shows, traveling, hitting a workout class, watching sports, trying new restaurants (follow him on Beli!), enjoying a good roller coaster, or spending time with my friends and Girlfriend, Anatasia.

Meet our treasurer, Susan Rock!

Rock is the owner of Rock Business Solutions, where she has provided accounting, bookkeeping, payroll, and CFO services to small and medium-sized businesses for more than 17 years. She earned her bachelor’s degree in business administration from Oklahoma State University in 1986. Rock and her husband, Walt, have two children: Stephanie, a 2007 graduate of Oklahoma State University, and Kevin, who attended Texas A&M University–Kingsville. A Round Rock resident since 1990, Susan is deeply invested in her community. She is a graduate of Leadership Round Rock (Class of 2023), President of The Round Rock Police Foundation, and an active Rotary member.
