Hey Hello Howdy! Join us and RSVP your spot for our General Meeting at Green Gate Farms on Saturday, February 25 from 2-4 pm. This is an open and free community event where we'll provide updates on what CTYFC been up to, announce future workshops, and provide federal and local action alerts. We'll also give attendees time to reflect and share what is going on in their community or farm operation and asking you (yes YOU) for your stories.

Have questions or interest in speaking at this event? Send us an email with your concern and vision. We welcome farm and food advocacy organizations to share their thoughts and updates with us.

There is a multitude of grant and loan opportunities for small business owners, but farmers have access to ag-specific programs you should know about! Hear from Shakera Raygoza of Terra Preta Farm and Katie Tritsch of the Small Producers Initiative about grant programs to keep an eye on and top considerations for writing a grant proposal.

Hey hey y'all, September is just around the corner! Next month our social will be on Friday, September 9th to give everyone some wiggle room for labor day weekend. As always, you can BYOB and BYO(S)nacks but we'll also have drinks, snacks, and some more crafts! Looking forward to seeing y'all then!!

Calling for all the unused stuff lying around in your house! To make our events a better experience for our guests, we have a small list of things that could help greatly. Do you have some easily transportable equipment lying around in your garage that you haven't used in a while? Maybe an extra cooler? Some fold-out chairs that haven't seen a butt in a few years? Let us take em' off your hands! We'll even arrange to pick it up from you. Here's what we need:

✅Any sized cooler: ideally big enough for ice and drink storage
✅Fold out plastic tables
✅Fold out chairs
✅Single DeWalt battery - any size - and charger (for our speaker)
✅Unused plastic cutlery, plates, or drinkware
✅ Table covers

Join us for our monthly socials, now every *First Friday of the Month* at .gardenatx 💜
Well have some kind of DIY craft activity each time and get to mingle with farmers and local food lovers.

Hey young farmers! 🌞 It’s Spring, and we’re excited to get together over some food and drinks to mingle and pet some goats!
Join us at Jester King Brewery this Friday, March 25 from 4:30-7:30pm. We’ll be ordering some pies 🍕 and visiting their goat pen 🐐 See you then!
