Day 3, Round 2 is now Sisterhood!! Texas State Panhellenic Council When I was talking to the Decor Team, they were trying to create the illusion of sunset for our room! 🌅 Without seeing the whole thing together, it looks like they may have achieved that. 🧡💛💖 I, understandably, haven’t heard much from campus, but I’d like to think that means everything is going well. I think TEXAS STATE CHI OMEGA looked darling yesterday and hope these photos represent the energy they are greeting the PNM’s with! As we all know, Chi Omega Fraternity is such a special organization and I can’t wait to see who we get to welcome into Alpha Zeta!

Help me wish the one and only, Nicole Snodgrass Kandah the HAPPIEST OF BIRTHDAYS!! 🎂🎉🎈🎁🥳 Here, with her IRL sisters, celebrating with her family! 👯‍♀️ I don’t tell her enough, but Austin Chi Omega Alumnae would not exist without her. When the chapter broke apart during COVID, I volunteered to try to put it back together around 2023. I had a historical binder and a phone number • for Nicole. I reached out and she GRACIOUSLY agreed to help. That process began our friendship, which I’m incredibly thankful for, and the chapter you see today. ❤️ Nicole’s knowledge on the history of our chapter is irreplaceable and holds incredible value. Her insights are always appreciated and her creativity {Nicole designs every graphic you see} is unmatched. There aren’t sufficient words to express how much she means to me both in Chi Omega and my personal life; I hope this is the BEST YEAR!! You deserve it!! ❤️💛

Well, if you’re a Texas State Football fan, you may be quite disappointed. However, despite a 7 - 59 final score, at least we were legitimately on the board this time! 🏟️ Minus the ‘sportball,’ we all enjoyed gushing over our new Austin Chi Omega Alumnae mascot, Carlisle!! 🐾 Thank you for bringing him, Katie. 🧡 I wonder if it will be another 96 years before we are invited back to DKR?!

Here’s a quick sneak peek into Day 1 & 2 of TEXAS STATE CHI OMEGA’s Philanthropy Rounds! 💙💫 We are so privileged to have a partnership with Make-A-Wish America and Make-A-Wish Central & South TX!! As we enjoy the Texas Football vs. Texas State Football 🏈 game this afternoon, Alpha Zeta will be talking all things WISHES! ✨ Every semester, our chapter works towards funding these wishes for children in our local community. It requires $10k to fully fund a wish experience and I’m beyond proud to report, we often raise MORE than the necessary funds! We have been fortunate to have creative, passionate and talented Philanthropy Directors over the past several years, who have made it a priority to go above and beyond for our fundraising efforts • Wish Week, Chi O Carnival, 🎡 Profit Shares with local businesses and Make-A-Waffle 🧇 are just a sample of the types of things Alpha Zeta looks forward to hosting! ‘Twas the night before Recruitment and all through the house
Recruiters were perfecting their conversations, without their Texas State Panhellenic Council blouse;
Decorations were being hung from the ceiling with care,
In hopes that PNM’s soon would be there.

When suddenly from the back there rose such a clatter,
I ran to the office to see what was the matter.
Away from the chapter room I flew like a flash,
Tore open the door and prevented a clash.

Then with a twinkle, we worked out the crinkle
The admin and advisors probably stopped a wrinkle.
As I drew down my head and was working around,
Down to the office Spencer & Jayden came with a bound!

Their skin had a sheen, their fingers were turning green!
We worked like a team, so Spencer’s Preference speech would be keen!

As midnight passed by, delirium began to creep,

It’s FINALLY Day 0 {Orientation} for Texas State Panhellenic Council!! 🎉 Our girls are ready and looking forward to meeting all of the PNM’s that will visit each chapter with their RC group. After today, they will break until Friday and the rounds will take place during Labor Day weekend! This weekend, Texas Chi O ❤️💛 concluded their recruitment season extending 90 bids to new members! With approximately 1,400 PNM’s this cycle, we can only imagine how hard the teams and members have been working the last week and beyond!! Panhellenic total at Texas was set at 341 and Iota is now above total at 348. Help us congratulate these collegiate sisters for a job well done! IN JUST TWO SHORT WEEKS 🏈 Texas Football will take on Texas State Football for the first time since October of 1930 DKR Memorial Stadium!! 🧡🐱< pls use your imagination with me and pretend that’s Boko and Koko! Both universities and programs have come a long way in 96 years, so let’s {if you’re a Bobcat!} hope Texas State University can get some points of the board this time! After investigating what it would cost to get some tickets 🎟️ for a real life experience, Nicole and I settled on a Watch Party 🎉 Pins Austin instead! They have food trucks, beverages, indoor televisions and occasionally outdoor music! Join us to cheer on Central Texas football! 🏟️
