had the most enjoyable Wine Down Wednesday at House Wine on S 1st! 🍷 It was Happy Hour all evening with discounts on drinks and tapas. 🧀🫒 While I never saw the inside of the original location, the interior here is adorable. Since the night was so pleasant, we took up a corner of the patio outside! *Gotta take advantage while we can, IMO. 😉

As an Austin resident, it’s so easy to forget about the opportunities in your own backyard. Tonight, did the ultimate ’tourist attraction,’ going on a sunset bat tour 🌅🦇 with ! I had forgotten our Congress Avenue buddies, the Mexican free-tailed bat, stands at just THREE inches tall, with an EIGHT inch wingspan! They really are little batty babies, making them difficult to catch on film! Afterwards, our party of six visited the newly renovated Ripple & Roots at the .
