A huge congratulations to UTeach Music Education & Butler School of Music alumna Lisa Holt, head choir director at Cedar Park High School, for being named one of the 10 finalists for the 2026 Grammy Music Educator Award! With over 20 years of experience, Lisa's impact on music education is truly inspiring. From starting her teaching journey as a student teacher at UT to now leading a thriving choir program and guiding her students to opportunities like performing with the Austin Symphony Orchestra, Lisa exemplifies dedication and passion. We're proud to have her represent UTeach Fine Arts as a Grammy finalist and celebrate her immense contributions to shaping the future of music education. We are excited to announce our Spring 20026 events. Join us for our upcoming UTeach Fine Arts events! These gatherings provide a fantastic opportunity for students at all stages to connect, learn, and engage with students from our Music Education, Theatre Education, Dance Education, and Art Education programs.🤘🏽🧡🎶🎭🪩🎨

📢 We are excited to announce that we are hosting our annual Student Teacher clothing drive! We are collecting donations of gently used professional attire, including business casual clothing, shoes, bags, scarves & accessories. Drop-off dates for the drive are December 1st- 9th. These items will provide students with the confidence they need to make a great impression during their student teaching semester. We have several drop off locations throughout the Fine Arts departments. Please see above for locations. Thank you for your generosity! 📌🗓️
